CM Revanth Reddy Unveils Vision–2047 at Telangana Rising Global Summit–2025

At the “Telangana Rising Global Summit–2025” held in Hyderabad, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy presented an ambitious roadmap for the state’s long-term development, inspired by India’s Constitution makers and the struggles of Telangana’s people for a separate state.
He recalled how Telangana was formed in 2014 under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi and then Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, and asserted that the young state is now preparing to transform itself into a global economic powerhouse.
Goal: A World-Leading Telangana by 2047
The Chief Minister announced that his government aims to make Telangana:
• A $1 trillion economy by 2034
• A $3 trillion economy by 2047
Though Telangana has only 2.9% of India’s population, it contributes 5% to India’s GDP, he said.
The goal is to raise this contribution to 10% by 2047.
“This vision is not a government document written behind closed doors. It is shaped by people’s aspirations, expert consultations and public engagement,” he said.
CURE–PURE–RARE Development Framework Introduced
Telangana became the first Indian state to adopt a spatial-planning-based development approach:
• CURE – Core Urban Region Economy
(AI, Aerospace, Genomics, Future Tech)
• PURE – Peri Urban Region Economy
(Manufacturing, Logistics, Industrial Growth)
• RARE – Rural Agricultural Region Economy
(Agriculture, Eco-Tourism, Carbon Economy)
He cited China’s Guangdong province as inspiration, saying Telangana intends to replicate its rapid 20-year transformation.
“If something feels difficult, we will start it immediately. If it seems impossible, we will still give it a timeline,” the Chief Minister remarked.
Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka: “This is Telangana People’s Document”
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka said the Vision–2047 document was built through a bottom-up democratic process and reflects the aspirations of the people.
He announced Telangana’s goal of achieving Net Zero by 2047, emphasizing that economic growth and environmental protection must work hand in hand.
He described the CURE–PURE–RARE model as a new grammar for development and said the $3 trillion target is not merely a figure—it is a force capable of transforming Telangana’s socio-economic landscape.
Minister Sridhar Babu: “We are building the future, not waiting for it”
Industries and IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu said the summit marks the government’s first major step in shaping the “Telangana of Tomorrow.”
Inspired by the Phoenix bird, Telangana is renewing itself through innovation, human capital development and sustainable growth, he said.
He highlighted strong economic indicators:
• GSDP growth: 10.1% (higher than national average)
• Per capita income: ₹3.79 lakh
• Services & industrial growth rates exceeding national averages
He detailed transformative initiatives such as:
• Bharat Future City
• Telangana AI Innovation Hub
• AI University
• Telangana Data Exchange
• OneBio Life Sciences Hub
• Center of Excellence in Quantum Technology
“These steps will place Telangana firmly on the global innovation map,” the minister said.
