Mucherla Narasimha Rao, Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal (KITSW), has been awarded Ph.D. degree by the Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Jalandhar, Punjab told by the principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy.
In a press note here on Thursday, KITSW Principal Prof K Ashoka Reddy highlighted that M. Narasimha Rao had submitted his PhD thesis titled “Fault tolerant Multilevel Inverters for Solar Water Pumping Applications”. He did his research work under the combined guideship of Dr N. Karthick, Associate Professor, School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, LPU. and Dr A Madhukar Rao, Assistant professor of EEE KITSW, Warangal.

These Multilevel Inverters are crucial for reliable solar water pumping systems. The present research is focussed on robust solution by ensuring continued operation even with component failures. These inverters are designed to mitigate the impact of faults, allowing the system to maintain functionality and minimise down time.
In this regard, the Former Rajya Sabha Member and KITSW Chairman Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, Treasurer, P. Narayana Reddy & Husnabad constituency former MLA & KITSW Additional secretary, Vodithala Satish Kumar & the Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy has congratulated him for doing more applicable society needed research in the field of Solar water pumping applications. These Multilevel Inverters are crucial for reliable solar water pumping systems. The present research is focussed on robust solution by ensuring continued operation even with component failures.
