Officials highlight student participation in academic and extracurricular activities.
The valedictory programme of the Student Activity Center (SAC) for the academic year 2025–2026 was held at the NLR Shed Auditorium on the campus of Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science (KITSW).
Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy said that the SAC serves as a central platform for student activities that help in building character and attitude. He stated that such activities support students in becoming technically skilled, ethically responsible, and emotionally balanced.
Rajya Sabha Member and KITSW Chairman Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, Treasurer P. Narayana Reddy, and former Husnabad MLA and KITSW Additional Secretary Vodithala Satish Kumar appreciated the efforts of faculty coordinators and student representatives. They congratulated the teams of nine clubs for organizing various academic and extracurricular programmes for overall student development.
Dean of Student Affairs Prof. K. Sridhar said that students are performing well by following discipline, dedication, and determination. He noted that students show innovation while organizing technical and cultural events.
The SAC includes nine clubs: Music, Dance and Fine Arts, Photography and Media, Humanity Club, NCC, NSS, Sports and Games, Literary Club, Technical Club, and Disciplinary Club, along with the ISTE chapter. A total of 74 programmes, including workshops, seminars, and cultural events, were conducted during the year.
Students shared feedback stating that they gained life skills, leadership qualities, and technical knowledge, which will help improve their employability.

Ranadheer Kumar-NCC Club, NSS Club, Programme Officer, Dr Ch Satish Chandra, MDF club- Dr. PSS Murthy, Humanity Club-Dr. G. Srinivas Rao, Literary club-Dr. W. Grace Shanthi, all the deans, all the HODs, student presidents of various clubs such as  MDF club President, N. Samhitha, Vice President P. Srilasya, PMC club President G. Sai Sumanth, K. Sai Dhanush Reddy, SaiSathvik(Poster designer),Thota Saicharan(President NCC), Shiva Deepak (President NSS), K. Shashikanth & Nandini-Technical club, P. Vaishnavi Reddy (President, HC), SriTeja Paka ( President LIT), T Karthik & Vishal aditya ( President G&S) and 280 students were present.
