Summer Sports Coaching Camp at KITS Warangal from April 25
One-month training for students in multiple games
Warangal:
The Department of Physical Education at Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science (KITS), Warangal, will organise a Summer Games and Sports Coaching Camp for boys and girls on its campus.
According to Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy, the one-month camp will be held from April 25, 2026, to May 23, 2026 at the institute’s indoor stadium and playgrounds. The programme is being conducted under corporate social responsibility (CSR) to benefit students.
Professor of Physical Education Prof. P. Ramesh Reddy said training will be provided in basketball, badminton, volleyball, and football for both boys and girls. The camp aims to improve physical fitness and encourage sports participation among students.
He added that the institute has been training school and college students in sports since 1980, providing facilities such as an indoor stadium, separate gym halls for boys and girls, table tennis courts, and a cricket ground. These facilities help students prepare for higher-level competitions.
Head of the Department of Physical Education Dr. M. Srinivas Reddy will be present during the programme.
