The event aimed to strengthen the technical and administrative capabilities of the attendees in environmental governance.

The inaugural session featured a keynote address by Smt. A. Vani Prasad, Principal Secretary of EFS&T and Director General of EPTRI. The program also included several technical sessions, coordinated by Dr. Rajeswar Jonnalagadda, Head of Climate Change and Training Divisions.

The program focused on key objectives, including:

2. Describing various environmental acts in India for a clean and safe environment.
3. Enlisting regulatory tools and instruments for enforcing environmental compliance.
