CM Revanth Reddy Promises to Overall Develop Warangal

1. CM Revanth Reddy inspected various development projects in Warangal.

2. He ordered a forensic audit due to unauthorized fund increases for a hospital project.


Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who promised to develop Warangal to match Greater Hyderabad, visited Warangal on Saturday with state department heads and cabinet colleagues.


He arrived by helicopter at 1 PM to the Megha Textile Park on the city's outskirts. CM Reddy viewed a photo exhibition about the park and planted trees in the area.


During his visit, CM Reddy inspected the construction of a super-speciality hospital in Warangal. He expressed anger at department officers for allocating additional funds without approval. CM Reddy questioned the increase from 1100 crores to 1726 crores and ordered a forensic audit. He also directed the concerned officers to complete the work within a set period.


CM Revanth Reddy inaugurated the Mahila Shakti Canteen in the Hanamkonda Integrated Complex and tasted the food prepared by Mahila Shakti group members. He was joined by other ministers, including Damodara Raja Narasimha and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Konda Surekha, Sitakka as well as district collectors Pamela Satpati and Dr. Satya Sharada. CM Reddy interacted with the canteen members.


CM Revanth Reddy spent four hours reviewing Warangal's overall development with department heads, discussing issues like the Kalogi Auditorium, master plan, and under drainage system. He promised to monitor Warangal’s development personally and review progress in 45 days.

Warangal, a historical city important to the Telangana movement, has been neglected by previous governments, according to CM Reddy. He emphasized Warangal's significance to Telangana's statehood.


After the meeting, CM Revanth Reddy and the ministers inaugurated a corporate hospital constructed by Medicover group on Hunter Road. He advised hospital authorities to treat patients with honor and expressed optimism about Warangal's potential as a pharma medical hub.
