National Anti-Ragging Day POSTER LAUNCH Held at KITS Warangal Campus
Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy garu informed that the Disciplinary Club, Student Activity Center (SAC), Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, Warangal (KITSW) and all the departments are jointly organizing National Anti Ragging Day on 20th August, 2024. Its poster was launched by the Dean academic affairs, Prof. K. Venumadhav in association with Registrar, Prof. M. Komal Reddy, Dean Student affairs, Prof. M. Sreelatha, Associate Dean, Shri M. Narasimha Rao, Associate professor of Chemistry & PRO, Dr.D. Prabhakara Chary & their team at KITSW campus. The one-week celebrations will be organized from 12-20th August, 2024.
The former Rajya Sabha MP, KITSW Chairman, Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao garu and Treasurer Shri P. Narayana Reddy garu and Husnabad constituency Former MLA & KITSW Additional secretary, Shri Vodithala Sateesh Kumar garu have congratulated them for releasing poster for the conduction of Anti Ragging Day followed by National Anti Ragging week.
On this occasion the Dean academic affairs Prof. K. Venumadhav highlighted that, KITS Warangal has been implementing UGC anti ragging regulations strictly to maintain zero ragging in the institute campus. As a step further, UGC has decided that Anti Ragging Day would be observed on 12th August followed by National Anti Ragging week from August 12-18th 2024. This will inculcate the harmony, brotherhood, integrity and leadership qualities among the student community.
The Dean student affairs Prof. M. Sreelatha said that the students who are interested to participate in the competitions(i) Skit (ii) Singing and (iii) Essay Writing, shall register through the website: kitsw.ac.in or by using registration scan on or before 15th August, 2024. Cash prizes worth of Rs 5000/- will be awarded to winners.
In this poster launching event, all the deans, all heads, Dean academic affairs Prof. K. Venumadhav, Registrar Prof. M. Komal Reddy, Dean student affairs Prof. M. Sreelatha, Associate dean, M. Narasimha Rao, faculty incharge Disciplinary Club, Dr. P. Nagarjuna Reddy, Associate professor of Chemistry & PRO Dr. D. Prabhakara Chary & their team consisting of faculty coordinators, student representatives, nearly 100 students were present.
