KITS Warangal Hosts Two-Day AICTE IDEA Lab Skilling Program on Electronic Tools and Development Boards.
Warangal: Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, Warangal (KITSW) is hosting a two-day AICTE IDEA Lab Skilling Program focused on innovative electronic tools and development boards. Organized by the Centre for Innovation, Incubation, Research, and Entrepreneurship (C-i²RE) at KITSW, in association with CSR Electronologies, Hyderabad, the event is taking place on September 21-22, 2024.
The program was inaugurated by Dr. K. Rajanarendar Reddy, Head of C-i²RE, and Dr. K. Ramudu, Associate Professor and in-charge Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), at the AICTE IDEA Lab on the KITS Warangal campus.
Former Rajya Sabha MP and KITSW Chairman, Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, along with Treasurer P. Narayana Reddy and former MLA of Husnabad constituency and KITSW Additional Secretary, Vodithala Sateesh Kumar, commended the faculty and the ECE department for organizing the event.
Chatrapathi Shiva Reddy, founder and CEO of CSR Electronologies, Hyderabad, served as the resource person for the event. He emphasized that the program provides students with hands-on experience using electronic tools and development boards to create prototypes addressing real-world problems. Reddy also stressed that such skilling programs help bridge the gap between academia and industry, and highlighted their importance in educating students on the practical applications of electronics in developing feasible prototypes.
KITSW Principal, Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy, in his keynote address, discussed the growing opportunities in the electronics industry, particularly in mobile manufacturing in India. He also spoke about the future of electronics, including machine-to-machine communication as part of Industry 5.0, and encouraged students to participate in innovative projects and hackathons to build industry-ready profiles.
