Seminar on Anti-Drugs, Cyber Crime, and the Importance of Education at KITS Warangal

Warangal, March 25, 2025: Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science (KITS), Warangal, conducted a seminar to raise awareness about anti-drugs, cybercrime, and the importance of education. The event was held under the guidance of Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy.


As per the instructions of Warangal City Police Commissioner Sri Sunpreet Singh, IPS, the Jagruti Police Cultural Team organized the seminar from 11:40 AM to 1:15 PM.

Speaking at the event, Hanamkonda SI Ravinder addressed students on the following points:

  • The dangers of substance abuse, including marijuana, drugs, and gutka.

  • Awareness on good touch and bad touch for personal safety.

  • Preventing road accidents, the role of Dial 100, SHE Teams, eve-teasing, and human trafficking.

  • The risks of cyber fraud and the importance of using the Cyber Helpline 1930 for assistance.

  • Prof. K. Sridhar, Chairman of the KITS Anti-Drug Committee.

  • Dr. P. Nagarjuna Reddy, Faculty In-charge.

  • Blue Coat Constable Officers.

  • Women ASI Smt. Nagamani, along with HCs William, Venkateshwarulu, Ratnaiah, PC Pool Singh, Hgs Srinivas, Vikram Raju, and Chiranjeevi.

  • Faculty members and around 300 students.
