Telangana State Legal Services Authority Officials Conduct Surprise Visit to Women's Prison

Hyderabad, March 27, 2025 –  CH. Panchakshari, Member Secretary of the Telangana State Legal Services Authority (TSLSA) and District Sessions Judge, Hyderabad, conducted a surprise visit to the Special Prison for Women in Hyderabad. He was accompanied by Smt. Kalarachana, Senior Civil Judge and Administrative Officer, TSLSA.

During the inspection, the officials reviewed the prison premises and expressed satisfaction with its maintenance. They noted that the facility was clean and well-kept.

Sri Panchakshari interacted with the inmates to understand their concerns. The prisoners reported that they had no issues and were satisfied with the conditions. He instructed the Superintendent to raise awareness among inmates about their legal rights and ensure proper monitoring.

Addressing the inmates, he encouraged them to continue learning vocational skills for their future livelihood. He advised them to use their time in prison productively and work towards a self-sufficient life after release.

The visit was overseen by Deputy Jailors Smt. Ch. Vijaya and Smt. N. Sangeetha, along with the Superintendent of the Special Prison for Women, Hyderabad..
