Rowdy Sheeter Externed from Warangal Police Commissionerate

CP orders six-month ban to maintain law and order
Warangal:
In a move to maintain public peace and order, Warangal Police Commissioner Sun Preet Singh has issued orders externing a rowdy sheeter identified as Vanchanagiri Suresh alias Kothi Suresh, a resident of Mills Colony, from the limits of the Warangal Police Commissionerate.
For the first time in the Commissionerate limits, action has been taken under Section 26(1) of the Hyderabad City Police Act, 1348 Fasli (Warangal Metropolitan Area Police Act, 2015), imposing a six-month externment on the offender for disturbing public order and safety.
Suresh (31), a rowdy sheeter of Mills Colony Police Station limits, has multiple serious criminal cases registered against him. Police records indicate that his illegal activities created fear among the public and posed a threat to peaceful living, discouraging residents from even lodging complaints.
Despite being served show-cause notices, the accused failed to appear before the authorities and did not submit any written explanation. Based on this conduct, police concluded that his presence posed a serious threat to public tranquility.
Following the issuance of the orders, Mills Colony Inspector Ramesh and SI Mithun served the externment notice to the accused at the boundary of the Warangal Police Commissionerate.
As per the orders, the accused has been directed to stay out of the Commissionerate limits for six months. However, he will be allowed to enter the area only with prior permission for court appearances.
The Warangal Police Commissioner stated that strict action will continue against those disrupting public peace and appealed to citizens to come forward with information about criminal activities without fear.
