Warangal, February 20, 2026:
The Department of MBA (Management) of Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science (KITSW), Warangal, organized a seminar on “Union Budget 2026–27” at the Silver Jubilee Seminar Hall on the KITS Warangal campus on Thursday.
The seminar was presided over by Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy. The keynote address was delivered by the Chief Guest, Sri Ch. V. Sai Prasad, Former Director of Indian Accounts & Audit Services, Hyderabad, who provided an in-depth analysis of the Union Budget and its implications for the Indian economy.
Speaking on the occasion, Sai Prasad stated that India’s economy currently stands at 30 trillion dollars and is expected to reach 60 trillion dollars by 2047. He emphasized that “Viksit Bharat” remains the Government of India’s vision, particularly in advancing technological development. He noted that the budget aims to nurture students and transform them into global professional managers in the future.
He also highlighted the importance of the ‘Orange Economy’, which encourages youth participation in creativity, intellectual pursuits, content creation, and innovation, thereby contributing to sustainable economic growth.
Former Rajya Sabha MP and Chairman of KITSW, Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, Treasurer P. Narayana Reddy, and former Husnabad MLA and Additional Secretary of KITSW, Vodithala Sateesh Kumar, congratulated the MBA Department and faculty for successfully organizing the seminar.
The event was attended by Head of the MBA Department Dr. P. Surender, Associate Professor of Chemistry and PRO Dr. D. Prabhakara Chary, all Deans, Heads of various departments, MBA faculty members including Dr. G. Rathnakar, Dr. Sunitha Chakravarthy, Dr. S. Sarika, K. Shashank, Dr. K. Jaipal, along with staff members and around 130 MBA and M.Tech students who actively participated in the seminar
