Superannuation Celebrations of Prof. P. Kamakshi Held at KITS Warangal
Warangal, May 31:
The Superannuation Celebrations of Prof. P. Kamakshi, a distinguished faculty member of the Department of Information Technology, were held with great respect and admiration at the Silver Jubilee Seminar Hall of Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, Warangal (KITSW).
The event was organized by the KITSW Staff Club and graced by several dignitaries, faculty, and staff members.
KITSW Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy lauded Prof. Kamakshi’s invaluable contributions to the institution over her 21 years of service. Highlighting her roles as Head of the Department and Controller of Examinations, he described her as a disciplined, dedicated, and inspiring academician known for her commitment to ethical values and women empowerment.
Former Rajya Sabha Member and KITSW Chairman Capt. V. Laxmikantha Rao, along with Treasurer P. Narayana Reddy, appreciated Prof. Kamakshi’s dedication and extended their heartfelt wishes for a fulfilling retired life. Other members of the management also conveyed their blessings.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of Registrar Prof. M. Komal Reddy, Administrative Officer Prof. P. Ramesh Reddy, Dean Academic Affairs Prof. K. Venumadhav, Head of IT Prof. Senthil Murugan, and several other dignitaries including heads of various departments, faculty members, and staff. Staff Club Executive Committee members Prof. K. Rajanarender Reddy (President), Dr. Chiranjeevi (Secretary), and Dr. K. Rajendra Prasad (Treasurer) played a key role in organizing the event.
The event concluded with a warm farewell to Prof. Kamakshi, celebrating her illustrious career and unwavering service to KITSW.
