Hyderabad,may28,2025:
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy reiterated his government’s commitment to strengthening the education sector, stating that education is the key to building a better and more equal society. The CM made these remarks while participating in an awards ceremony organised by the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWREIS) at Babu Jagjivan Ram Bhavan in Hyderabad.
The event celebrated the achievements of students from SC Gurukula schools who secured admissions into prestigious national institutions like IITs and NITs. Students who excelled in Class 10 and Intermediate exams were also felicitated. In addition, awards and incentives were given to Gurukula institutions that delivered outstanding results.

Earlier in the day, CM Revanth Reddy inaugurated a student art exhibition at the venue. Speaking at the ceremony, he said,
“Our students have the power to shape the future of society. If you do well in your studies, you not only bring pride to your family but also to your village, your state, and the entire nation.”
He emphasized that the government’s mission is to eliminate inequality and build an inclusive society. Highlighting the progress made under his leadership, the CM noted the historic appointment of a Dalit Vice-Chancellor at Osmania University for the first time in its 100-year history.
“Many Dalit individuals have now taken up key roles such as Vice-Chairman of the Higher Education Council, Chairman of the Education Commission, and even Speaker of the Legislative Assembly. These achievements weren’t given based on caste—they earned them through education,” he said.
Urging students to stay focused and determined, he added,
“This is the turning point in your life. Your hard work and dedication now will shape your future. Don’t get lost in distractions—commit yourself to learning until at least the age of 25. Education will earn you respect in society. If you go astray, your parents will be heartbroken. But if you succeed, your village will take pride in you.”
He also spoke about the government’s new initiative—Young India Integrated Residential Schools—which aim to provide quality education to talented yet underprivileged youth.
“Our Gurukula students have incredible talent and self-confidence. I strongly believe they will shine in the future. Not just for their families, but they will bring recognition to their entire communities,” the CM said.
Concluding his address, he reassured the students of his continued support:
“If you do well, the state will do well. I’ll always stand by you. I wish you all a bright and successful future.”
The event was attended by Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, advisors Vem Narender Reddy and Shabbir Ali, along with several MPs, MLAs, MLCs, senior officials, students, and their parents.
